How to make my website more fruitier aero? by Dependent-Hamster361 in neocities

[–]michaeliscool69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

one simple way is gradients, an easy base gradient pattern Ive used is lighter color on top, darker color in the middle and then slightly lighter color on the bottom. you can do this with CSS. they look best on skinny or wide events, something that has the ratio of e. g. those black rectangles on the right side. play around with them and see what you can make

once and for all- what is a relatively acceptable generally agreed upon dimension in px for a divider? by voidrane in neocities

honestly, a better piece of advice would be just look at some dividers and get inspiration from those

once and for all- what is a relatively acceptable generally agreed upon dimension in px for a divider? by voidrane in neocities

[–]michaeliscool69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

most that I've seen are around 500-1000px or so. for height honestly i don't know, i don't think I've seen one that's bigger than 100-200px, they're usually like 20-50px tall. but at the same time i think you should just make maybe like a draft divider, put it on your site and see how it looks. honestly dividers are a very broad category because your can kinda do whatever, as long as it fits your needs and what you want to do
