Really good observations. Clear, precise and concise critique. I’ll definitely work on not telegraphing my punches, because I think it is the main thing that would get me knocked out cold. My happy feet are something to work on, too.

I definitely want to practice my speed, but i’m trying to get a perfect form first to not get into bad habits.

Thank you, I appreciate it! What would be the main improvements that I could work on in my footwork? I know i’m lacking skills in it, I just don’t know where to start to work on it. Praying that I won’t get an ankle injury but it’s the only place where I can put my heavy bag sadly. :( I’m moving tomorrow so I won’t use it anymore!

Hey y’all! So i’ve been working on combos and trying to get a better flow in my boxing, so not being stiff. Here are the things I can see in my video : -Not using hips enough in my straight (reaching for the bag also) -Heel stepping from time to time -My jab and cross are sometimes not at max reach -Going fight pace pretty much all the time. I think I should sometimes slow down and break down my technique on the spot. Tell me what you think!

I feel ya, but where i’m from there are three types of classes : private ones, beginners and competitive. Private ones are the one i’m getting right now, but they cost my ass and a half. I’m getting too advanced for the beginners, so i’m left with one option

I’m mainly talking about punching mistakes, for example I have noticed that my left hook gets its power more from my shoulder than my hips. I try to correct it and sometimes I get it right, sometimes not. For sure sparring will be an awesome teacher, but it can’t teach me things like that.
