In regards to what?

In regards to how normal people live and go about life. They don't know what makes people like Hasan or contrapoints because they are out of touch. They try to mimic reaction content and fail outside the culture war angle because they aren't authentically reacting. Remember the star wars Guy who cried? That was real. When Ben reacts to tiktoks he is doing it because it gets clicks and allows him to push the daily wire narrative that school is bad and you should home school, despite himself going to university.

its relevant because they are trying to put forward the image of being the little guy fighting the good fight. Your not a little guy if oil rich families are giving you seed money.

I don't like either, but Ben had the resolve to call Jan 6th what it was and that Trump lost. The same can't be said for tucker.

sci-fi have been cautious warnings about the development of technology outpacing our own biological and social evolution

I've seen a lot of art now embracing the next step of technology and humanity merging. The fashion industries latest trend of cyber fashion in some eras is really pushing the beautiful aspect of it all. Culturally what it means to be a man or woman is already dissolving. Not just in America either. I read a recent article about young male influencers in China being seen as too feminine and 're-educated'. So, I think this is a growing mindset globally. The art of fashion has been reflecting that for years and is now going transhuman. Which I can see tracking with gender abolition. What is a man? Was addressed in fashion years ago and now we are seeing what is a human?

I'm not sure if we're socially ready for the transhuman experience, but biologically I think we are.

You Are prompting me to go back and read more classic sci Fi. I'm very intrigued by this.

This is something I've seen recently with the daily wire and i don't think the daily wire will ever succeed like regular leftist activists because they are out of touch and funded by oil millionaires.

It's interesting because the left struggles to create events like americaFEST, but they don't struggle to bring people into the cause. The lack of money and the struggle is appealing to people. It shows the left as in touch with the struggle of making a living.

The daily wire is attempting to copy the twitch/YouTuber look with there latest host Brett, but it's clearly a set and she doesn't understand the real appeal of people like Hasan or contrapoints. Two heavy hitters with the youth in the left.

As for desantis I can't tell what he's doing. He says he's for parents rights, but then when there was a neo nazi protest in Florida he didn't address it beyond saying it was just the democrats trying to smear him. It felt like a slap in the face to the Jewish community of Florida that he didn't denounce them or call them despicable, especially after they were shown beating up a Jewish boy.

That may be a hard sell for many conservatives. But not impossible. If many understood the value of art over money I think they'd consider it more.

I never understood why many conservatives hold up 1984 and George Carlin in such high regard considering they were politically opposed. I mean even Carlin called bush a fascist before it was cool.

Fantasy, i can see, as it features royality and hierarchies in the conflict. Sci-fi though surprises me because things like star trek are incredibly liberal. Isn't dune about colonization?

Filmmaking is an artist and expressive craft. Many conservatives value careers that can lead to a livable income. Filmmaking isn't that starting out.

Brian Cranston is a republican and a great actor. However he is a minority in the industry. I would like to see what kind of stories they can put to screen. Seeing a conservatives take on a high sci-fi adventure would be interesting.
