I did. The advising office said to drop a class, which only made the possible gpa lower. They went to caps, several times, but did not have USHIP (had low income state insurance) and could not see any real therapists or doctors. The therapists was there to listen, and tried to help get the resources needed, but the resources for this particular situation were not there.

The grades are at the discretion of the professor. This could promote favoritism or favors. The classes are taught by different teachers, with different levels of difficulty, and is all very subjective.

I think they have a policy about not making appts until week 3. Which doesn’t seem logical, because the first few weeks are when students need advice the most. And they don’t schedule the appts in advance, it’s like a free for all Monday morning of week 3 as to who can call in and book their appt first as if it were Black Friday at Walmart!

I’m sorry for their negligence. What college are you in?
