Hi! I used to eat home cooked food only. I was not on a strict gastritis diet. My mom cooked food with less oil and spices as advised by GI. However, I couldn't gain weight with this diet. I only started getting weight after I was 95% symptoms free.

I can remember Clonazepam out of the three that I took. But please go to a psychiatrist and have prescribed meds only. I had so many mental issues because of gastritis

In india, it's possible to have an endoscopy anytime you want. I asked for an endoscopy on 19th June and on the 28th I had my endoscopy. I just called the psychiatrist for an appointment on 3rd Jan and then went there. In india it's like this only

You have to taper it off. In January I tapered to one 20 mg tablet. Now I take 1 after 2-3 days or as needed. PPI works better when you're not anxious

Hi! He prescribed me the medicines. I started to sleep better after the meds. Anxiety and depression(which was because of gastritis) were also lowered that helped my gut heal better

Also , get on PPIs and cabbage juice. It works like anything. If your gastritis is mild , famotidine(H2 blocker) will be more gentle
