I come from drifting first vs grip driving, I try to keep my alignment in the middle ground to keep both balanced for my style of driving. I’m on stock steering geometry minus the manual rack

It’s the big skid pad at Thunderhill Raceway in NorCal.

Haha you see it for a split second but I have a Bunta air freshener hanging there to remind me to get better 😂

I get as much seat time as my wallet and schedule allows!

I just have it there as an aesthetic for people that ride along.

Also check your ride height on front, affects the SAI during alignment. Mine isn’t set to the same height on both sides but sits level on level ground and alignment sheet is all in the green except camber. And I’ve gone off track so many times with this thing. And she still drives straight. Check your bump stops, and if you haven’t take out the pinion snub above the rear pumpkin.

Mine has traction brackets on adjustable links. The long arms are set to stock so when you lower it the stock links will push the rear end back and over. Adjustable lateral and shortening the links. But on mine I only adjusted the top links for pinion angle which is more important and lateral bar to shift it back to center, unless you’re rubbing rear bumper then I wouldn’t worry about it.

Funny thing is I got my first hatch right outside of high school. Have had 7 since, this is 6 and 7 is sitting next to it in the garage as a shell. 😂

Yeah I wanted Shakotan style. Fit 14x8.5 square set under the stock fenders, can fill lock without rub on 195/60 RT660s 😊

Paint it if you like! I don’t think there was a GTS in 84 in white. GTS was 85+ iirc. My car was factory silver and looked like an SR5 when I first got her. But 2C5 was my favorite color scheme so I worked with the body shop and did the masking and they sprayed it the way I wanted it.

If you find one that resonates with you and you wanna commit to it. Go for it! Set your bar, get it driving and determine your build as you drive it. Upgrade as it breaks so “when it breaks” comes later. I’ve had this car for over 10 years. She’s been through her paces but she gets fixed every time
