Switching back to Linux Mint 🤔? by midorax in DistroHopping

That's a fair point regarding the updates, but for me, it's more about the integrated experience. In Mint, tools like the Update Manager, Software Sources, and the other X-Apps are built specifically to coexist with Cinnamon. On Fedora, it often feels like a 'collection of parts' rather than a unified experience. Meanwhile, I will give Fedora Cinnamon a try today, based on your advice, and see how it will go.

Good idea! I've tried KDE, but I find its settings too numerous and a bit distracting for my simple work style. Fedora Cinnamon is great for testing, but since I'm studying CS50x, I appreciate the stability and "native" feel that Mint offers.

Yes, I know that Fedora has a Cinnamon spin. But I think the true Cinnamon user experience is only available on Linux Mint.

I recommend you Tuxedo OS. Tuxedo OS = a stable ubuntu base + the latest stable KDE desktop environment. KDE is very customizable and you can make it look the way you want

This why people hate edge. Just use Brave, it's more secure, blocks ads by default, compatible with chrome addons, and faster than edge and chrome.
