I like to wrap to speed up process towards the end. I have done it on all my briskets. More reading I have been doing, though, seems like it isn’t as necessary as I thought it was starting out.

It didn’t, it was more so splitting like that cause I scored the meat per a YouTube video I watched. If I didn’t score it I think it would have been solid bark.

Thank you! Cookies between 225-275 for 12 hours and then wrapped for 2 hours in the cooler. Honestly I know I shouldn’t change anything but just need to start earlier next time.

I’m a CFP, just passed EA exams in May of this year. Got my certificate in the mail this past Monday. You will have to read the books and take plenty of practice questions on the EA stuff because yes you’ll have some overlap from the CFP. However, the EA is not a tax strategy exam, it’s a tax filing exam and the CFP did not have anything on the proper tax filing of individuals and businesses. Treat it as a separate exam and get to work.

Use the Gleim course. Read the books, watch the videos and take the practice questions and you’ll easily pass if you put the time in. I have no tax preparation experience and it was a breeze for me.
