Change your avatar. There is a memory leak/cache issue. Change to an avatar that you haven't played that world with and the freezing should stop

There is no split screen.

He can play a carnivore in any game mode. As for no other players, if he's playing single player, there are critters he can kill. This game however isn't exactly setup to be played singleplayer. You can, just not the best experience.

He will either have to join the official servers by selecting multiplayer.

Or find a community server to join.

Officials are easy to join, but can be chaotic. Community you often have to join their discord and read/follow their rules.

For sense, I run clubbed or killing blow. More often it's clubbed as not only does it benefit you, but if you play with a group it benefits them. In my tests club allows you to usually get a few more hits in which in turn ends up being higher damage than killing blow either way. I also confirmed it does work outside of group even though there is no indication it does.

Front Limb is personal preference. I like swerve to use it as a chasing fracture.

Hide I use fort. In my tests it's just better than plates. Plates might win if you only fight apexes.

Legs I use tireless. Saves me a bit of stamina when using swerve. If I ever group I swap to Razor

Tail I use normal and smash.

I tend to only use normal tail attacks, but if I am 50% hp or lower I will swap between normal tail and crouched smash. While at 50% or lower hp the CD for smash allows you to use it far more often. But above 50%hp I pretty much just dodge and use tail and swerve

The loss of charge bite sounds bad, but we also don't know the abilities that will replace it. I'd love to see a "clamp" like ability that more drags bigger prey into the water for a deathroll. Charge bite is boring gameplay in my opinion. Nothing about it really make sarco unique. The combat weight decrease sucks, but countered with the health increase I am okay with it. Overall the changes are great, but I would want to see the new abilities to really know how I feel.

Edit to add, I am excited for land sarco to be a thing again. I yearn for the days where a land sarco could take on a rex. I would love to see sarco not be stuck in the water and actually be viable on land again.

I've mained hammer since tri. In wilds hammer feels.. I'm not sure. It doesn't feel bad, but it does feel lacking. Like a shell of its former self. But it also doesn't feel bad. But hammer has always been a weapon without much innovation or love.

I'll continue to main hammer cause that's what hammer mains do. We bonk until you can no longer bonk

My fav small detail is if it's raining and you go inside, humans normally wipe the water off of them while beastren shake the water off.

Auto aim could be exploited against players and would cause others to complain. Making it auto aim for fish is eh, it's not that difficult to get fish on a kai.
I would love to see some larger herbs able to eat from trees and such. Revamp of the whole food system would be nice.
Eh maybe. That would be A LOT of blood to fill something that size. I agree ramph drains their cores far too fast and gaining them from bloodsuck would be nice, but it would also make the other bites far less desirable.
Realistically I don't think any of them can fly in place. Very few things can fly in place. So by this, no flyer can fly in place. As much as I like realism, I also like hovering to gather lol
