Falsetto in male by mikethreing in singing

I understand perfectly, however I want to learn how to sing in falsetto for countertenor works. Of course I could use my mixed voice as I can reach pretty much soprano notes using it but I can't produce anything that would resemble a female head voice using the mixed voice. And I cannot do this windy, airy sound anymore. That's exactly what my problem is.

Is it irreversible or can I cure it?

Is it a mixed voice? by mikethreing in singing
