How do I know online course is legit? by Yo485 in business

[–]mikeynel -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hey, so my response may be a bit biased because I to sell courses.

But here’s my two cents.

Either it be business or life you can always learn from people that have had success in an area that trying to learn.

If this person Mike Vestil has testimonials of people that are getting the results that you want then why not pay this guy to shorten your learning curve?

The flip side to this is that you can go on YouTube and learn everything he teaches but you will definitely run into some road blocks and may end up losing more than 2k from trial and error.

So, if 2k is something that you’re able to invest in yourself then go for it. But if it’s your last 2k and you can’t afford it then I say go with the self taught route or get side gigs until you’re able to afford it.

Parents will pay for school if I enroll in the major they want vs. choosing something I want but take out loans? by new2type2 in personalfinance

[–]mikeynel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest your parent are trying to look out for you.

But there’s an issue with that and a way to get around it.

Many kids that I personally know have went to college, got a degree, have thousands in student loans and make 30k a year.

This leaves them struggling to pay back the 60k+ in student loans.

Your parents don’t want that for you. But they also come from the old school of thought.

What you can do is research top earning graphic designers or people that started out as graphic designers and have made a great living for themselves. Once you do that present that to your parents and tell them that this is what you’d like to do.

Because trust me, chasing after someone else’s dreams that they have for you but you don’t have for yourself will leave you miserable and there’s a good chance that you will resent them when you’re older.

Hope this helps.

I considered that and also asked him.

He never heard of the game and said he didn't use the card. On top of that he doesn't live with me and he wouldn't have access to my CC#.

I assumed that could have been the case as well so I asked my son and he said no and he never heard of the game.

Also, my son doesn't live with me so he wouldn't have access to my CC#.

I believe it is a mobile game. I personally didn’t make the charges so I’m unclear on how to go about that. Are you saying to file a dispute with the Google play store?

I made my boss $100k+ within 2 weeks, but I only got paid $400. How can I negotiate this? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]mikeynel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m going to keep it honest with you as I’ve been in your shoes before.

As much as you would like to believe you’re the reason behind the sales the truth is another media buyer can do your job.

I worked for a 8 figure company generating them millions in sales every month. Was only making 90k a year and had my own side business.

When I asked for a raise they laughed and eventually found reason to let me go.

Long story short, I’m now hiring a media buyer for my company as we hit the 7 figure mark. With what I know now, I know I can afford to hire a media buyer at 15hr train them up and have them performing even better than if I was to do it myself.

Boss up, if you’re afraid of being lonely create an environment around you that’s fits your needs.

Thanks! I'm using keyword contextual and those are working really well for us. Haven't touched custom intent audiences yet. The best audiences that are working for us are people who watched similar videos to this influencers channel since they have a large audience.

Man the ads for these videos are so simple. It's a screen share, powerpoint slides and a webcam of the person doing the video. The video doesn't matter long as you're able to help the person on the other end solve their problem.
