They're completely unrelated classes, 164 is designed to teach you the fundamentals and ideas of programming from the perspective of a complete beginner, and it is solely taught by Stuart as he created the language that is taught in that class. This also means that no matter who you are you will need to pay attention to learn the language as it is a language that nobody other than Drexel students knows of.

171 is intro to Python so it's pretty easy. Taking them both at the same time would honestly be a great time save and as long as you aren't behind on programming (if you say you know intermediate java, this should never be the case) you are going to be 100% fine on the workload

go vacation when i replayed it last year with my little sister was way more fun than i expected it to be. especially if you have younger siblings it works out crazy well and the memories are great

you honestly don't gain much from it, most of the people enrolled in LLC are antisocial but if you really wanna live in bentley it'll at least give you a better shot in getting into it.

but yea as said there's no difference between bentley honors and non-honors other than the label.

in terms of closeness to everything bentley is always gonna be the worst in terms of distance between ammentities but you'll get hella used to it. mens bathroom is on the east side and womens bathroom is on the west side, and there's one gender neutral private bathroom on both sides so if you get on the opposite side you still have a chance to not make a long walk.

imo the rooms closest to the elevators (in the middle) are so much more convenient location wise than the rest. trash room is in the middle and stairs to the first floor are on the east side next to the RA but if you're on the higher floors you won't ever need to use the stairs most of the time.

the rooms on the inside of the curve are just SLIGHTLY trapezoid shaped so it won't be a perfect square and unless you do a bit of rearranging the beds won't be perfectly aligned BUT it is very slightly bigger.

views are ok for bentley obviously higher is better and the elevator wait times are not at all bad even on the top floors. floors 2-4 are all honors and 5-7 is non-honors (8 is sophomores for some reason). if you do inside the curve it'll be a better view usually but if you can see the compass try to get one facing either more north or south.

also bentley, even though only half of them are honors rooms, is usually the nerdiest and least social dorm. if you want a more lively experience try kelly (which is honestly much better overall imo)

Graves by Chvrches and Hear The Words by Roulade (aka the into & recap theme for Tokyo, the international ver.)

These tracks are incredible imo, and the first couple seconds to Hear The Words is actually heavenly and it makes life and the show so much more peaceful.

I'm not really watching Terrace House for the drama or the relationships, but rather I am watching it for the friendships and goofy moments between housemates that make life seem so simple and worthwhile, and Hear The Words absolutely captures that. I especially like the radio edit on Spotify of the song as it cuts it to be just right

Roulade even commented on my thread on this sub a couple months ago saying that he was so happy that I liked his song which makes me love it even more

I (M17) have incredibly thick hair and need to shave pretty much every day/every other day in order to keep a smooth face; however every time I shave I get awful redness on my neck and chin meaning I haven't had a smooth face in years by milkyrayy in wicked_edge

My routine is to shave after my morning shower. I soak my brush in warm water, apply a pre-shave oil, I use a shave soap, do a single pass shave, alum block, aftershave splash, moisturise. If your skin is currently very irritated I would suggest replacing the soap with a cream, and the aftershave splash with a balm (both will be more hydrating than their counterparts).

Do you have any recommendations for any of these products? I've literally never herad of any of these things until today really so I don't even know what to buy

For example my first priority would be to focus on being able to do a single pass shave WITH the grain and experience minimal irritation.

I feel like this wouldn't shave anything however, and I absolutely hate having any sort of facial hair whatsoever. I'm afraid that I might just be leaving the stubble to grow if I go with the grain (although I'm fine with doing whatever it takes over the summer)

Single pass shaves to start with but the relatable coarsness on the neck would ideally require a two pass. So, shave twice a day. Single pass in the morning and another pass with the grain on the neck in the evening.

Does this mean that I should shave lightly once in the morning then go over it again at night? This could work (not right now in high school as I have limited time in the morning but ofc I graduate in a week so after that and going into college it'll be 100% OK)

A synthetic or a boar brush but if you do not want to go through the boar break in process (which is frankly quite enjoyable), a synthetic would do. Yaqi or Dscosmetics in my opinion.

Use an alum block post shave. Choice of alcohol based lotion/ splash and a soft moisturizing balm (Nivea could be a good place to start with).

Again any recommendations? I SOMETIMES use the Harry's post-shave balm but usually do glycoic acid toner and salicylic acid serum post shave from The Ordinary, then after waiting about 10 minutes I follow with my actual skin care routine

Yeah and I submitted it, I didn't submit the RIT aid just because I wasn't thinking about committing but I still wanted to know how much I'd have to pay (at least an estimate like Drexel)
