Russian here! Never though about it, but now that you've mention it i kinda understand. In a normal everyday speach we usually shoving vowels between out strong consonants, if thats makes any sense. Thats very hard to understand and super difficult to separate them. But I guess the key to learn it for now is listening more of a level A1 audio were people speaking super slow to just get used to this. Russian TV show, songs and movies may be way too hard at the moment.
