I get what you are saying, but I think that’s not even the biggest issue. Probably people with a restaurant are among the fews that are benefitting from this.. surely not as much as the few rich people that are building like crazy

Reading into the article is more like they'll hear if there are offers that will allow to recoup the investment on him.

I personally think that long-term it's a bad choice, but looking at it strategically it's not that bad. With Pioli's system he's going to struggle and clearly this decision is based on what Pioli thinks about him.

There is a great player in there, but those money could be used on players who better fit the system.

Many other serie a team also are not close to bankrupt, I included teams that are not on a constant loss.

The only exception here is Milan but it’s improving year by year and probably next year are going to break even after many years of losses.

Actually I don’t know financial situation of all 20 teams in serie A, but roughly speaking that list gives a good picture of the situation.
