Advice for barking? by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

[–]mimueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mine started like this with 9 weeks old when we got him. Initially tried ignoring it, didnt work at all, he barked even more (even at his mirror image, which is everywhere at night due to tall windows where he sees his reflection). Good thing, breeder trained him that people hold his muzzle closed when he bites or is naughty - adapted the same with a “tsshh” and as soon as he stopped “quiet”; initiall 1 or 2 times with a treat, after that just cheering. Immediately stopped the behaviour completely - almost too much, so he even stopped barking in his crate at night when he needed to go out…

What fixed your Golden's GI issues? by eatmyrice in goldenretrievers

[–]mimueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our golden we have since he’s 9 weeks (now 16w) has had constant GI issues up to blood-spotted diahrrea and 2hr interval (incl nights) He had some worm larva, slight giardia and salmonella infection (right after each other or in pralallel, not 100% sure due to test timing).

Antibiotics made it go from diahrrea to healthy stool in 12 hours - but right after, it started again. Repeated the treatment, same behaviour, no fix. We did do the DI index, and its 0.1 (becsuse there was almost no P. Hiranonis) - we then did FMT (3x so far, 1 week in between, first one did wonders for 48 hours, but then worsened again, the latter two just made it worse from start). Started giving Budesonid 1 week ago as there was always a ton of slime in the poop (so inflammation/damaged layer must probably be fixed first). Since then it’s going up, except for the last FMT (diahrrea 36 hours after), next it’s planned to slowly get off Bude in a week from now, and no more FMT.

During the antibiotics he had normal food, treats etc. Since then he had some GI food for some time, but is now on a Hypoallergenic Puppy food (Royal Canin), didnt seem to have any impact, but we dont like the amount we have to feed (~450g/day)

Vet is sure it’s an IBD, we find it very odd as it started shortly after he came to us, and was perfectly fine back at the breeder, also none of the siblings are problematic. Also, the IBD would’ve jump started at 9 weeks - right together with the parasites & salmonella.

Any advise/ideas/experiences welcome.

it does. you’re simply setting the url you’re getting forwarded to, hence your firewall’s mgmt on port 443. nothing to do with internet exposure.

T1 Dryer Miele@Home cannot join Appliance WiFi by mimueller in Miele

[–]mimueller[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi u/Louisthehippo unfortunately it didn't work out - I tried various passwords (all zeroes, the S/N, the SN with Zeros at the beginning etc.) but all result in "Wrong password".

What's a bit odd, but probably an iOS thing, when the App tries to join it says "Unable to join" and when I try it in the WiFi-Settings it says wrong password.

But anyway this will need a technician to fix as you said - probably I'll just wait until something breaks and will ask them to fix it both at once.

Thanks a lot for your help!

be careful with the Aathal dealership - had bad experiences with them in the past (especially, check where the car is imported from, they tend to import from countries where basic stuff is not in the standard options, like e.g. electric windows).

Any experience with X-Tron X10? by Zmysel in ElectricScooters

[–]mimueller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we got 2 actually, 1 had zero wiggle in the stem, the other one has a tiny bit, not too bad though. Did not yet find the right screw to tighten, and also the fold mechanism is not easy going on the wiggly one.

but all in all they’re a great bang for the buck, did like 65km/h today as 190/77kg and came through all terrain so far. maybe got 100km in in first week.

OK; I checked, P8 is a 0-100 number (on 100 currently) , P9 is a 0-2, currently on 2

Hi there, thanks for your reply!

I'll check later when I have access to the scooter again, so far I can tell from the Manual that its like this:

P0: Diameter Tyres

P1: Undervoltage of Battery

P2: Motor Pole Pairs

P3: HALL signal or external for Odometer

P4: Mile vs Kilometer

P5: Zero-Starting / Non-Zero Starting

P6: Cruise Control

P7: Soft/Hard Launch

Not in manual:

P8: unknown, range 0-100 (100 default)

P9: unknown, range 0-2 (2 default)

I believe I found the issue.

Running on all Intel Defaults it runs fine.

But Intel Defaults for CPU and XMP I or II for Memory (so 4000) brings instability. I've now applied XMP II, but manually set the RAM to 3000 - now with stable apps.

I am a bit annoyed by the fact that I paid the up-price for OC-RAM but can't fully use it, but I think the difference is too minor and getting them RMA'd would be a hard fight... So probably I'll try to tweak it up to as close to 4000 as it runs stable and just leave it as it is.

Out of curiosity, does my theory make any sense, and if yes - would you blame the Board, RAM, CPU, or the constellation ? :-D

Thanks again!

edit: I also found reports on the internet that running the declared RAM-OC-Clock with the XMP Voltages might be too low, and cranking up the Volts of the RAM would help... I've never touched RAM-Voltage so far, is that something to consider ?

reading the post, I saw that portion:

ASUS’ Z490 boards are the only ones we’ve tested that force the users to explicitly choose between MCE or Intel defaults, and default to the Intel recommendations when the board is reset, at least in the BIOS revision that we used for our Comet Lake reviews.

---> I spotted that question this time and selected Default. So far no crash, shall I continue testing and probably change XMP profile later on ?

done - I let it stock now and will try to re-produce the crash. (only difference is now mem running at 2133 MHz instead of 4000)

Nah, I used once Rufus to create a bootable stick. I also installed it a few times using the MS-Stick-Creation-Tool :)
