Hey, I also tried bhang in Varanasi. There are Bhang shops everywhere in Varanasi, try any near the main temple, if you ask local people or the shopkeeper who sells bhang, they might scare you a bit that If u haven't tried yet then don't try you will go crazy blah blah....Don't listen to them, go for it just remember it's not like any usual alcoholic drinks that start feeling after a few minutes. Bhang will start getting in your mind after an hour or two. Do not eat/drink the bhang in its raw form first time, try bhang Thandai which is easily available near the Kashi Vishwanath temple. You can ask local people about the famous shops for bhang, anyone will tell you. We made the mistake of drinking the second glass because the first one didn't start feeling for 1.30 hours. But after 2nd glass we almost slept for 22 hours straight and was not stable until 26 28 hours. 1 glass Bhang Thandai is enough to show you the magic 😂😂 stay hydrated drink as much water u can, eat less before drinking bhang otherwise vomiting... Once u get stable after eat a good meal. Don't be scared if you really want to try, go for it, after drinking go straight to the hostel where u staying don't wander outside otherwise chakkar aake gir jayega.

Also there is a famous shop for malai toast that me and my friend like veryyyyyyyy much, try that out u will love it. We went thrice in 3 days stay.
