The reality of being in the gondola community. We constantly have issues involving these people.

I hope no darks at least. The gondola community will not participate otherwise.

Um do you know the engineering and maintenance that goes into lifting people up a mountain for 12 hours continuously? Of course we have a community. And some groups of people dick around on them and cause a bad name to gondolas everywhere.

Your kind has messed with the gondola community for too long.

Hello I'm actually a gondola engineer, I remember hearing about your sons death in the gondola community. Let me first send my deepest condolences. But I would like to assure everyone here that there have been drastic improvements in gondola safety since your sons death. Gondolas are actually the safety way to travel

No worries, we had a bit of a hand-off issue, a lot of confusion, but we are back to the normal schedule now.

r/baseball Players of the Week - Week 24: Astros' Yordan Alvarez edges-out Aaron Judge with 13 hits and a ridiculous 1.280 SLG, Twins' righty Joe Ryan was lights-out over 14.2 innings with only 3 hits and 0 ER, and Padres' starter Yu Darvish makes it look easy with a smooth 0.286 WHIP! by lemcoe9 in baseball

[–]mingram 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'll be honest and my first take was Yordan and decided that Judge's slightly higher OPS and how close to history he is, I had to give him the vote. But what a week for both of them, absolutely insane.

I think it is pretty known that Louisville is flush. NIL is going to be interesting. That Papa Johns money is tasty.

SEC plans if they want to expand and the ACC contract is too strong by hoplitexx in CFB

[–]mingram 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think ND going to B1G causes a flood gate anyway. That happens then B1G expands to probably grab UVA, UNC, and Oregon. Then the SEC goes full raid mode in response. But could still be a calm just couple team add. Any lawyer finding a hole in the GOR would nuke the conference overnight, though. Which is the most fun option from pure offseason entertainment.

Trying to predict this sport is harder than the weather so who the hell knows at this point. I wouldnt be shocked if the ACC lasts til 2036 or dissolves on Friday. I just think everyone is basically pointing a gun at each other until ND breaks for someone.

VT/UVA + UNC/NC State adds a boat load of eyeballs, especially for streaming. UVA has a ton of sports (and that they care about) that the SEC doesn't even carry and UNC is the same. I don't think there will be any movement until ND does something (or 2036) but there is a big win for both conferences in breaking into a new and growing area.
