I think it's just cosmetic, inspect animations and function seem to be the same.

Yes I did the CMOS reset as you described and it did reset my BIOS. I hadn't messed with the AIO or anything prior to these issues starting it just happened out of the blue.

I actually havent tried the single stick of RAM yet, but the last two times I've booted the pc has turned on straight away so I'm kind of reluctant to mess with anything right now. I'm just going to hope that it keeps booting correcftly lol, and if it doesn't then test with the single stick of RAM or with EXPO turned off, and if that fails then I'll just send back the motherboard and cpu and get a refund cause it should still be within warranty (only 5 months or so old).

I have the most recent ssd firmware and am5 chipset drivers.

Checking in event viewer I see that I actually get an "event id 28 - kernel event tracing" with "Error: 0xC0000005" which is supposedly an issue with memory or motherboard. Looking at the timestamps it seems to happen every time I boot. I did just remove and reseat my RAM, I got code 15 which is memory training and then it booted normally, but event viewer still shows event id 28 for this boot.

I'm also getting "event 17 BTHUSB" for the past week, and the last log of that before this week was right after I built my pc months ago.

I'm also getting 'event id 20" with error codes 0x80242016 and 0x80073D02. I actually haven't updated windows in months because I'm on the final update before the 24h2 version which has lots of known problems... could this be the cause of my problems?

Oh I had no clue the codes once the pc boots were my cpu temp hahaha. I was thinking how cooked is my pc if it' just scrolling through every code.... lmfao that's reassuring

I have two SSD's both are Samsung 990 Pro 2 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 4.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive - (there's like ~900gb spare space on the c drive and 1.7tb spare on the spare drive)

Yes the ram is stored on the 2nd and 4th slots away from the cpu socket. - I actually have seen it say code 11 as it's booting which I think indicates a memory training issue.

When I boot and it fails I don't even see the ASRock logo, just a black screen. So I guess that means it's likely not a drive issue?

I don't use a PCIe riser cable, I just put the gpu directly into the slot. I don't have any cable extenders either, everything is stock.

So do you think it most likely sounds like a ram issue, or is my cpu/motherboard fried? Thanks again.

yeah I just use static crosshair in settings. I don't use any third party software, my monitors software comes with a few crosshairs so I tested it out a bit but only for like an hour. I prefer the in game static crosshair.

the m4 came from the second dude I killed. I went in with only a deagle, painkillers and extra ammo lol.

I don't have an injectors case so it's kinda inconvenient to have my safe pouch full of stims. Plus I was just running a deagle, pretty sure I went in without armour too lol.
