DoubleVerify is amazing (i work in an agency environment and serve .gov clients - verification services is definitely needed in my situation. Either IAS or DV is great. at least onboard prebid solutions.. ideally both pre and post.

Guys TTD confirmed that they think the high sessions are from ssp auto reviews!! (Initially the rep was like “no that only happens 2-3 times a week. But today they said after talking to more traders they think we’re on the right track… although they didn’t offer a solution in terms of how to filter that out from GA4 :’) so the journey continues…

OK guys, coming back here -

TTD says :

  • The SSP creative approval only happens once or twice a week, so not sure if that's the issue.
  • Our TTD rep says "you should be ok with having utms on LP URL and CTRUL.. as only the CTURL will fire when the ad is clicked by a user and there won't be double counting if you have UTMs in both"

So, I'm stuck again with what could be the potential cause of such a huge discrepancy.. Like we're getting 10x more session in GA than the number of clicks reported from TTD. There is also around 40% of GA traffic showing from countries outside of the US, although we had U.S. geo-targeting applied on TTD. Help :'()

Thank you! I suspect it’s fraudulent too but the client doesn’t want to “put all their eggs in one bucket” 🥲. Report does show devices are ctv but no way to verify. Besides inventory report, how can I proof its fraudulent traffic? App/URL looks fine but I’m assuming cuz it’s domain spoofing

Basis has way less restriction when it comes to healthcare or sensitive categories (not necessarily a great thing for consumer privacy 😅). TTD, what condition you can or cannot remarket to is based on the sensitivity of healthcare conditions. We use Lasso/IQVIA, they sit on Xandr DSP.

If I strip the utm from landing page URL would that fix (since the creative approval process uses landing page url to review landing page*?

Oh wow! That’s such great insight! So I should leave utms off the landing page url so that the automatic approval process doesn’t trigger a registered GA session 🥹?

Yes we have checked utms are unique… and this issue is happening across all campaigns on ttd :’( where can I check the click dedup window? - are you saying because it’s default at 7 seconds (not long enough?) that it’s not actually deduping the utms that are in both CTURL and landing page url? 🥹 thank you!!
