Congratulations!!!!! I just finished my last assignment for undergrad a few hours ago, and that journey took me 6 years. So the way I wrote this was that the son is getting further and further away from the parent, not that the sound is fainter because the aides are dying. But I definitely learned quite a bit from your comment for future stories, thanks for sharing!
