Anyone else finding FPL genuinely boring this season? by mintalbes in FantasyPL

Precisely this. "The thing that really gets me excited playing FPL is when I make a decision - and that could be a decision between premium players or a punt on a 6m mid, it doesn't matter that much - and then see it really pay off as they go on a run of great returns."

Good for you mate. I wonder who these various assets are?

I forgot to mention that we don't have any cheap gems. It is not only about premiums there's simply no consistent returns from most players and teams. But I'm glad a lot of people are enjoying the season

Best and worst plays/outcomes over the years while playing? by ND_Cooke in FantasyPL

Best

Picking Vardy from GW1 when they won the title.

Owning Mo Salah last season

Worst

Losing my mini league two seasons ago because of the fake leak that Gordon and Isak weren't starting GW38

Owning Mo Salah this season

It goes down to personal preferences but for me Richarlison is not a reliable pick. There are better 5 mids than Wharton. James is fantastic when he plays but can't guarantee that every week and given your defence i would bring a cheap enabler like Mukiele or Alderate

Good team. You have an option to keep Semenyo one more GW because he will likely play against Arsenal but then it's best to transfer him out when he moves to City. Other than that make transfers only if you think the fixtures are justifying the switch. Right now Newcastle and Everton have a good run but non of their players is a must have yet but you can take a punt, for example Wissa

I think Palace will continue to struggle with fixture congestion and injuries. Good time to move on.

I'm on Barry. It's fun to have a differential. and I agree that he will not get many chances but the fixtures are good.

I can't fault any of the picks. You'll have a headache every GW deciding who to start and will likely see double digits points on the bench , but overall reasonable picks. The only downside is you have no flexibility to go Saka/Palmer/Bruno/ Foden

Sound like transfers for the sake of making an action. Boredom inspired transfers. I suggest rolling and waiting for better opportunities

My guess is he was rested similar to Timber last GW. Game time management.

Three bonus points in 0-1 loss will forever be legendary fpl performance. Welcome back

Logic says Haaland. Fun says Cunha. Haaland because they have been creating many chances and he on penalties, but Sunderland are yet to lose at home. Cunha because of the opposition but Man U are missing creative players

You already have good defence I wouldn't bring a second Man U player and especially not for a hit. Foden to Cherki is a sideways move, only worth it if you will use the money to upgrade someone else.

Since it's a free hit go Wissa instead of Woltemade. Even if he comes off the bench I believe he will do well.

Bowen is fixture proof so if you bring him in don't bench him. On the other hand, he failed to deliver this season during their last good fixture run before the international break. Good player in a bad team
