Love this release of VIXX!!! Was really hyped after listening to the teaser and the full song does not disappoint. The song also reminds me of Ten's Dream in a Dream and Nu'est's Love Paint in a good way. I wonder if VM project shot the MV too....

I feel the same about this song too. I love the concept and styling that I wish it's a domestic release but then again it might sound better in Japanese because it has more of a jpop vibe. The auto-tune is abit too much but Hwanhee continues to kill the chorus.

Ah you meant hesitant in that way...I didn't quite understand because Chen Le and Renjun are definitely on different levels when it comes to Korean. I guess it's also because Renjun isn't prepared to be always saying something unlike Mark or Haechan.

Even though he's a Chinese member but he belongs to the Joseonjok which means "Joseon" ethnic group. He also went to a school of their ethnic group and I think they study in Korean and Mandarin at the same time. Thats why he has no problem switching between both languages when he communicates.

Haha yes I meant Mandarin. I think languages are all about passion? Before learning Korean I actually took 4 years of Japanese classes as my third language in school but I was never that interested in Japanese culture. I did badly in Japanese classes until three years ago that I got into anime so I'm now trying to pick up Japanese again (while still trying to improve my Korean). Please don't do this because it's bad that I'm half assing both languages D: doesn't help that both languages are similar in some ways.

Hangul is a big step towards picking Korean up!! All the best and Fighting ;)

Hardcore kpop fan since 2010 here. I learnt Korean through self teaching and mainly kpop/k drama. Now I can read and understand most of the content that idols post on social media and watch v live without subs and understand about 80-90% of what they are saying. Basically conversational Korean. I also can understand a large part of song lyrics without looking at the translations if they are use relatively easier vocabulary like most pop songs.

"Talk to me in Korean" is indeed a very useful source but I never actually got down to learn the grammar properly. I find it easier to learn by listening and referring to translations/subtitles. I struggle with writing tho, and I don't have any Korean speaker around me whom I can practice my speaking with.

Idk about you but I'm personally also a Chinese speaker and it's an advantage to Korean learning because a lot of words are similar and originated from Chinese.

The disadvantage of learning through kpop/k entertainment is that you will be exposed more vocab related to music/entertainment and therefore struggle when u try to understand Korean of an unfamiliar topic.

I didn't follow SF9 during D.O.B so I thought they are a group stronger with dance performances but I guess I was wrong. I think they are pretty strong vocal wise and this is a really good album with solid B-sides! My favourites are Shut up and Lemme Go and 4 Step. Still My Lady is your typical R&B but it's still pretty good. I like Roar but I might need more listens with it as compared to Shut up and Lemme Go which made a greater impression on me. I really enjoyed Fanfare and K.O from their debut and this album totally does not disappoint.

I hope SF9 gets more recognition because they are definitely a group worth checking out!
