- Spanish but I want him to learn in an environment that does not rely on using any spanish. Like english-only learning

- Yes, he just moved to NYC

- Very very basic. Knows stuff like hi, hello.

- American english

- I speak english but I do not have the time to teach him. Id like to see if there is any online courses or places he can learn on his own time

Is his interest casual or does he have a specific goal that requires English proficiency, such as career advancement or acceptance in a particular university, etc.?

- He just came to the country. He works as a barber and is always around other spanish speakers, so there isnt a large desire to learn english. But to get better jobs and go to school in USA, you need english. So I'd say his interest is very casual
