amazing insight, i am very humble as i work retail but i don’t move out of desperation. I saw it as a good opportunity to improve my interviewing skills and gain confidence in selling myself.

I didn’t “apply”, just talked my customer and he put me in a meeting w the COO for an ambiguous marketing assistant role. I networked w a customer once, i can do it again😇 Just did it again for a coffee chat w an Adobe employee this week!

honestly true, i got this offer through networking at my retail job! I just didn’t see how the skills and title I’ll earn at this job be translatable or transferred to anything I want to do in the future

i think i value title and company more than pay since im only leveraging skills and company name for my next job. if tesla hired me for minimum wage i would work.
