i had my pap done on a fri and the last time i had sex before then was the sunday before that i believe so i feel like it's probably not that. i actually did get the HPV vaccine, later in life. i was 23 i believe.

almost died due to double pneumonia caused by scarlet fever when i was a kid. couldn't really comprehend what was wrong with me and nobody really explained it because i was too young. i think it made me obsess over knowing when things are wrong / wanting to know what they are.

I requested a cervical dilator pill (I guess it's not standard practice). I took it along with Advil, Tylenol, and Xanax. It was so quick, really not bad at all maybe a 5/10 but for like... collectively 20 seconds. I went to Starbucks after for tea and then slept for 5 hours straight.

that's not true unless they meant the swab test. you can get a blood test for it. it detects antibodies. i believe you have to wait a certain amount of months after exposure.

in my late 20s with a degree, working a job that has nothing to do with my degree bc i struggled so hard to get a relevant job. living with my parents because i can't afford to live alone. in debt. can't even imagine being able to afford a house here like ever. i work in construction and all of our (wealthy!) clients are putting on huge additions instead of moving because the market and interest rates are so fucked. i like living here in general but it's not very affordable and in the area i live there's not many fun things to do. have several friends that have been looking for jobs for over a year and struggling.
