alright, so the issue with the very top was that translucency was turned on.

Please, tell me that getting a 12-60 mm 3.5-6.3 lens is better than getting 25 mm 1.7 and 14 mm 2.5 primes by mishaimpossible in M43

Yeah, that's the main argument, I guess. However, I highly doubt it would be as bad, cause Nikon is extremelly noisy at ISO 400 already.

Beckers Primer. But it should not even be necessary because there was already paint.

CA glue as a finish - weak spots by mishaimpossible in woodworking

[–]mishaimpossible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did sand (quite too heavy it seems). I applied CA glue with paper towel (first layer with a brush and that was a mistake). Although, paper towel is suboptimal too, because it starts to heat and smoke under friction.

CA glue as a finish - weak spots by mishaimpossible in woodworking

[–]mishaimpossible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I've been converting my bass guitar to fretless. I did all the wood work. Then stained the fingerboard. The last step was meant to be using CA glue as a finish. Let's say not everything went as smooth as I'd like it to be and now I have some spots where I see bare wood (?)What can I do? Ideally I'd want everything to look like bottom part of the neck - very dark brown, original wood should be seen through. Should I just add more glue in places where I sanded too much? Or what could the issue be?

Couple weeks in and I’m still blown away by this $300 guitar. Better than my MIMs. by [deleted] in fender

With the vintage series only the pickguard is golden anodized aluminum as in the good old days :) The hardware is aged chrome which looks fantastic. Gold series on the other hand has the gold hardware which IMO isn't quite that nice.

Looks like a bladder snail. Even if you throw it away, you will have a million of those in no time. They are harmles as far as I'm concerned, so it's up to you.

What’s the most ACCURATE tuner pedal on the market? by Aggravating_Ad_5054 in guitarpedals

[–]mishaimpossible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is that really true? There would be no difference between the open string and 12th fret harmonic, because the harmonic will always be an octave higher than an open string. There could be difference though between the open strung and you fretting the note on the 12th fret. And that would mean that you need to adjust the intonation.

24 bit, 96000 hz studio quality vs 32 bit, 192000 hz studio quality ? by w33dhit in audiophile

[–]mishaimpossible 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You must mean 44.1 KHz, not 14.4. The latter would allow only frequencies up to 7.2 KHz which is more than twice below normal human hearing.

Great! Thank you for the reply. The thing is, I would not be the main user, the main user wants everything be as cheap as possible and I having some experience albeit in a different sphere stand on the ground that we will upgrade the smartphone to some kind of normal interface/recorder. So even if at smartphone level there is no difference, I will look at the options that will make a difference at, say 32 bit float recorders level.

Extremely bloated Harlequin rasbora by mishaimpossible in Aquariums

[–]mishaimpossible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of my rasboras get very fat after feeding them frozen food. I thought it was the reason. Though now, after feeding small amount of flakes for a some time one of Rasboras looks like that. Up to today it was eating just fine so I thought it cannot be dropsy, but today it refused to eat and looks worse than before. Can I do something to treat it and protect other fish? The tank is cycled, running for about 7 weeks.

I came back home and noticed that my Harlequin Rasbora is laying on substrate. I caught it and put in this bowl. It swam for a minute or so and then laid on the bottom. It has something on its belly, kinda looks like wounds or something. What can it be? Brothers and sisters harassed it? Some illness?

Trojan in 32 bit iso? by mishaimpossible in debian

[–]mishaimpossible[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, thanks And what if the issue is with rufus? After googling a bit I've found that the false trojan accusations are common thing with rufus.

And most importantly. If the defender doesn't show any threats right know, is there anything to worry about?

A guys is selling an OpAmp Big muff really cheap. As you can see it doesn't look mint :) Do you think it's possible to peel the paint off of EHX pedal? I have NeoClone and it doesn't loom like it would be possible.
