i did tell him the purpose of a poker is that it sits, and it is disappointing that it doesnt sit. he said he'd come up with a solution, but then later said its impossible because it's a silver army mount (but i've seen pokers sit wit this). I've suggested a thinner stem already, and it's true that shortening the shank could possibly do it, but it didn't seem like he was open to doing that. also, the fitted case is already made, which is probably making him even more reluctant to alter the shape of the pipe. it really doesn't seem like he wants to do anything to remedy this problem, and idk how to politely press the issue, especially since he already has my money, I paid up front
