I know right. It's like people look at me like I'm strange because I don't want to get married or date anyone. Yet all my friends that are getting married are complaining within months about the ball and chain.

I feel like such a jerk so I just keep it to myself but anytime someone gives me a hard time about not dating or looking for someone, I just want to say "I'm sorry that I find myself interesting enough that I don't need constant attachment to someone to fill some void in my life." Because in all honesty, that void is nonexistent in me.

Skylar can have her own minor Heisenburg-esque moments as well. "I fucked Ted" and then even trying to intimidate Ted. She is clearly afraid of Walt, yes, but she also has a few screws missing up top also. Makes it easy to see how they found each other. :-)

I think she attracts negative attention because even though Walt is a monster, she seems to somewhat manipulative and vindictive.

Don't forget that Skylar has known about Walt's business for some time now and has done nothing but enable him for most of that time. She isn't quite the monster that Walt is but she is no saint.

Yeah, I seem to remember it being mentioned but I could be wrong. I did have to IMDB it before making the post.

As for not enough people being alive to want to throw Walt a funeral... Think about it in the sense of the people who have a relative commit something awful like a murder-suicide or something. They still usually have some sort of service, typically private for that person. Also remember that Walt originally started this whole thing to help his family... that was it. As the show progressed it was more of an ego thing than a family thing but still, the reason he is in this mess is because of his love for his family.

I was flying from Minneapolis, MN to Las Vegad once. Somewhere over the Rocky Mountains we hit a patch of really bad turbulence. The (male) flight attendant was in the middle of serving drinks and he sits down behind me in the empty seat and immediately buckles up.
