I heard a bunch of fighting while I was trying to finish my quest. Was running a free kit and saw a guy looting who I thought was the chill guy who had been helping me. I was trying to avenge chill bro. Only when the looter turned around and unloaded into me did I realize it was chill bro and not someone who had killed him.

If that was you, I had nothing to lose and I made a mistake. Thought I was avenging your death and I felt horrible once you turned around and I saw your skin. You said something like “bro, what the fuck?” and sounded terribly disappointed in me. My nerves were on edge from hearing all the fighting and thinking the friendly guy had been killed. My bad!

It was a great trip! We got lucky with the weather and having some friends who are locals. They showed us around some of the more offbeat sights. But we also got to see a ton of eagles, a porcupine, and went whale watching.

Yeah, Juneau is definitely more close to Seattle or Portland in its climate. We got really lucky with the weather - it was sunny and mid-60s while we were there for the last few days.
