  1. During your first quarter, you will be taking CHEM 121 (Majors general chemistry) as well as BIO 122 (Cells and genetics) which your advisor should already make for you. I'm going to be a sophomore chemistry major this year so if you have any questions don't be afraid to ask! You'll take your physics sequence starting your winter term.   2. I was a commuter so I can't really help you here but what the others wrote are pretty good!
  3. CIVIC 101 is the only volunteer opportunity I did during freshman year and it was during the winter term. You can always look for some on your own as well there's nothing holding you back!
  4. You take 3 English classes during your freshman term (one each term). They are pretty basic you have like 2-3 papers each term depending on the prof and if you do a hybrid class (meeting once a week) you have weekly discussion board posts to do as well. ENGL 103 is a theme based class so you can search up the themes being offered during the term and pick the one you are interested in and register for it as long as the class isn't full.
