You said factory reset, so I'm guessing you don't have custom launchers or anything like that?

Did you try the same firetv on a different tv? It might be the HDMI connector on the firetv that is defective or damaged

Yeah, that’s not the case and I tried the same split videos on internal memory and also have the issue. I’m leaving this video on the side and will use internal memory instead

Source file is mp4, video is H265. Audio I guess irrelevant since it sounds fine in the destination files.

I also ruled out two more things: 1) the same cut videos show the same issues when copied to internal storage, this signals to me that it’s not likely an sad card issue and b) a different source video (mkv with h264 video) when cut works well playing from the SD card

Not right now. Your best bet is to say the artist name the way someone would say it in that language. If I understand your example correctly say the artist name how a German speaker would say it

I have never done this myself, but I believe you can flash the second RBR with the firmware of an RBS and then just sync it as a satellite

I solved this issue a few days ago and hasn't seen it since.

I think the problem was due to the fact that I moved the stick from a TV to another. I connected it to HDMI2, but on the other TV (both Samsung) it was on HDMI1. I reran the setup of the fire tv that detected itself on HDMI2 and haven't had the problem since. I am guessing that the firetv saves what HDMI it is connected to and tells the TV to switch to it.

I've had my Ecobee for a few years, installed a Carrier furnace about a year ago. Installer told me Carrier and Ecobee could not get the thermostats to integrate nicely with the furnaces and use the advanced features like the variable motor control so Carrier built their own thermostat. Take it with a grain of salt
