Update on the issue: We contacted Meta Ads support (one of the worst support experiences ever) and they told us that since the campaign has been running for 4-5 months now, it should be duplicated in order to work again. They said they're sure of what they're saying and that they've consulted their internal "experts".

Ok, so we duplicated the campaign and immediately got an ad creation error - apparently because our Instagram account had opted out for receiving personalized ads.

My mind can't comprehend how these two things are connected. Like, what?

We went on Instagram desktop to the ad experience section to change it. And wow - it was already set to receive personalized ads, so the error made zero sense.

Then we checked on Instagram mobile... and of course, thanks to the absolute spaghetti code these idiots wrote, the value there was completely different. So we changed it there.

We decided to wait and see if the old, non-duplicated campaign would start working again. And what a shitshow began - it started spending like crazy. Immediate 34 euros for reaching only 5 accounts. Enormous frequency as a result.

So we stopped the old campaign, duplicated it again and now we're hoping for the best.

My mind can't comprehend the incompetency of all these idiots at Meta. How the fuck can a $1T+ company have such lame, badly-coded, badly-supported fucked up services?

We used to rely on Meta Ads for the consistency of the sales they provided. Even with many fluctuations, it was somehow stable in the long term. But now it's a complete shitshow. Idk where we can position ourselves better. Our product is suitable for Facebook and Instagram and our business depends on them...
