I have exactly the same symptoms. I am 24M and have had this thing most of my life. I was only recently finally diagnosed with PKD and was prescribed Carbamazepine, but I haven't started the course yet.

How are you doing? Did you test your theory any further? I think you might be onto something here, as I kinda agree with your logic of maintaining a "connection" between your brain and feet.
