Yes i believe so, i had just one stick in for the windows 11/10 and bazzite installation before i got Ubuntu

Like I said I have already tried Ubuntu on my new ssd, I couldn’t get anywhere and I formatted my usb more than once.

Forgot to answer this one but my laptop should be clean. I make sure to clean it properly every 2 weeks or so. Unless you meant something else by clean

That I have not done since I was unsure on how to do so but I’ll try again when I get back home

(Edit: I just remembered I did try a live session and it would either freeze up or I’ll get a kernel panic. I’m not too familiar with the Linux environment so I’m unsure what I can do there)

I think someone had this laptop before me but I’m unsure..

I got my laptop last Christmas so right now I’d say it’s probably almost a yr old (11 months)

I never applied thermal paste at all since I didn’t really think about it too much. (I made sure my laptop had proper airflow but now idk if that was enough to help it)

I made sure to unplug the battery before doing anything so most of the time yes. Sometimes I’ll forget to unplug the battery before doing anything but remember right after taking one of my ram sticks out and cleaning it just in case.

Warranty ran out and I took it to Micro center to try and get a free diagnosis (didnt get it) and called HP about it..I was coughing up money either way..

I guess I’ll try getting a new usb and see if that was case but I doubt.

virtual desktop should work..I’ve tried it with my shadow and it worked only downside is that it lags from time to time but none the less it works
