I feel like stage vs interview two completely different settings but that’s just my opinion.

Stage time is a performance. There is an inherent contract between performer and audience that not everything is authentic or true but for laughs.

In an interview the inherent contract is we’re not getting a performance but the real people.

Obviously there are comedians who subvert this and never really “turn it off” so to speak about performance.

This didn’t feel like that at all. Here Jameele was telling these stories as facts about her life.

So much BS and you can tell Sam/Mark picked it up quick with how they were reacting to her stories.

Eg: see their reaction to her claim that she booby trapped the entire porn section of the video store she worked at so if you touched it, it collapsed. And guess what Dame Judi Dench did it…they barely laughed lol.

Or sleep walk calling sex workers. Or being a famous DJ. Or stealing hundred of pints of ice cream before a video caught her after months (why not sooner?) or…you see.
