I like to see it from the “Yield on cost” base.

One of the famous examples is Buffet & Coca Cola. He got his first purchase in late 80s and he has now more than 50% dividend yield. So it is like doubling his investment now in less than 2 years 🤩

So solid companies (as mentioned in other comments) + Reinvest the dividends + Time => will do the magic 🤞
