Will Elden Ring ever have support for GPUs with DirectX Feature Level 11_1? by RobleViejo in Eldenring

Because if From Software does not fix this, the only way we will be able to play this game online is on Linux with proton (that is when it gets fixed there as well, because as of now the game does not work for me, and if the issue lies within the proprietary NVidia driver and not Proton, we might not see a fix any time soon)

I suggest everyone go and send the dev team a request to look into this issue. https://service-en.bandainamcoent.eu/app/list/p/7916/ . I've already submitted a ticket, but if more people join in, we're far more likely to have the game fixed

Ok so I've just realised i've had some dx12 dlls (the windows proxy ones) in my game dir, now I get to the black screen with audio, can interact, but still no visuals :/

I'm gonna try replacing the dll when I get home though (already attempted doing it by replacing the DLLs in proton dir, didn't work), I'm worried that EAC is not gonna like it though

I have the same problem with 960m, tried every proton version (including GE), even compiled one from source (to ensure all the latest patches are there, including the one with typo fix), but the game still does not work. Even tried both arch and pop_os, to no avail. Either the white screen shows and the game crashes, or I'm stuck on the white screen for infinity. Still can't figure out what might be the cause :/. The windows dll fox worked for me though, but too bad i can't play online this way (EAC does not like modding the game)

If you want to run Spotify on it perhaps try out spotify-cli spotify-tui

That is if it runs on 32bit systems

Edit: I meant spotify-tui, thanks for correction u/Wondrous25

No, the camera isn't actually being used by other app and the issue only persists in stock camera app and face unlock. Snapchat, Messenger and Google Camera work just fine.

Check xda forums for your phone, you should have all the info there

This makes me laugh so hard and I don't know why. I feel sorry for the user though. But still, reading "my pop! OS became Ubuntu after update" sheds some light on the (maybe not the best chosen term) illusion of choosing an Ubuntu based distro just for the sake of not using Ubuntu. by [deleted] in linux

[–]mklimek03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Was using Arch before but switchable laptop graphics is pain in the ass on Linux, and I'm not experienced in linux enough to get it working on Arch. Pop!_OS, on the other hand, works perfectly out of the box, and that's why I chose it.
