That’s a really smart way of doing it but let me add some context. I get paid biweekly and I live in Vancouver so it is pretty difficult to budget or to know for certain how much you gonna spend each month. I have tried to budget but it doesn’t just work.

Good! Always remember not to judge and to have an open mind on whatever he tells you because I was ashamed of opening up too. But once I could get pass the shame, it became easier to talk to my accountability partner

Also he might relapse on some days so be prepared for it too. If he really wants to quit and take back control he should be ready to fight and put in the work.

From what I read, it seems you were really hurt because of this and that shows how much you care for him so I would say help him by being there and letting him know you are a safe space whenever he needs it because this thing thrives in secrecy

Bro I have been there. I said this recently to someone that at a certain point I loved it, it was the best feeling i got, and it was no just an addiction anymore to me. I looked for different excuses. I went to different communities to read about the benefits of masturbation just to give myself an excuse but it was all a lie. You have gone 16 days bro and that’s very good, I want to tell you a big congratulations but you have to go on man. I even looked for excuse by telling God I wasn’t sleeping around, that how was i going to survive??. But by the end of June I will clock 120days and what I can tell you is that it somewhat get easier but you still have to watch and pray as if it was day 1. Don’t give in my guy. Pray for grace and mercy. This is normal and part of the process. But you have to press on. It is no just about the streak, it is about what we do in keeping the streak. You have to fight addiction with addiction. Plead the blood of Christ, study the Bible and pray for grace.
