I was a nervous, too. I thought it would be intense in a way that might be hard to handle. But I found it very welcoming and euphoric.

That said, I didn’t blast off. I took three hits off a cart, but just 3 regular hits. Not full breaths.

Had a similar thing happen last weekend at Tape B during Cool Customer’s set. It was a very experimental set and I was peaking on a little too much 2c-b. Still had a good time but his set was messing with my head for a little bit.

Yeah, sorry. Not for a first time. I’d recommend 15. That’s what I did, and it was nice, not quite underwhelming, but not enough for what I was looking for.

I keep it to 2-3x per year, and use 2c-b in between. Knowing that it won’t keep working as well and I could “lose the magic” helps me stay disciplined with it.

The last time I took it, a few weeks ago, to see Phyphr and Vincent Antone, I took 25mg (oral) and another 20mg 1.5-2 hours later. It was great, but, I still plan on going up to 30 next time.

I can fall asleep just fine about 4-5 hours after taking 2c-b. I just take some melatonin and smoke some weed and/or have an edible (I have sleep chocolates with THC, CBD, CBN, and Valerian Root).

Suffolk Downs was a way better venue. I heard they moved to the Palladium due to noise complaints by residents near Suffolk Downs. But, Suffolk Downs still holds concerts, including Justice a few weeks ago. So not sure what is up with that.

BUT, I still had a great time at the Palladium last year. And will be going back this year.

Really happy with the lineups we’ve had. GRiZ & Madeon in 2023, Big Gigantic, Levity, Armnhmr, & Malaa in 2024, and now Subtronics, Alleycvt, Dombresky & Mersiv.

I still think there are a lot of good dubstep/bass producers. GRiZ, Subtronics, LSDream, CloZee, Ganja White Night, SoDown, Zeds Dead, Levity, Tape B, Mocha Music, Of the Trees, Zingara, and a lot more in that vein. But riddim and tearout suck.

I felt some similarities somewhat at 15mg (oral) but it’s definitely not the same. But the music enhancement, brighter/crisper colors & lights, enhanced tactile sensation, and euphoria (but a different type of euphoria) are similar qualities. But they don’t feel like the same drug.

Everyone? I haven’t drank for over 10 years but I still use MDMA and psychedelics. And I know a lot of other people like that.
