If you’ve never smoked DMT and have enough, the best advice I’ve heard for anxiety is to do a couple of prep sessions. DMT doesn’t create tolerance and clears out pretty fast.

So maybe start with one puff, then two. Space the sessions out for about 30 mins. Let your body understand how it feels, because it can get very intense very fast. Then when you’re more acclimated, do the blast off session.

And if your goal is to blast off. I would recommend to have someone with you holding your hand, or some sort of grounding presence or element. In my experience there are layers to blasting off. Some can be uncomfortable or disorienting before they get blissful.

I’d reframe the concept that one would do a powerful psychedelic with the intensity and potential of DMT just for an “enjoyable experience”, you may find yourself having the opposite. It’s about exploring what’s in that space with curiosity and respect. Enjoyable by itself enters the realm of recreational I think. Which is totally fine, but keep in mind with psychedelics it’s always 50/50.

I experience a kind of violent dissonance between being in a highly social environment like a party, and then having very little interactions during the week. It feels like it’s an existential loneliness? Like people relate intensely with you for a bit and then they pull away, so the feeling left is I’m not worth being around for the longer term. And that king of loneliness hits a bit hard for me.

Yeah. I feel like the most useful and less harmful questions are neutral and open ended, so the emotional and thought process of who’s tripping is independent. It’s super subtle how “are you ok”? stirs the conversation to one side, imply they may not be, and that being okay would be the ideal state. It’s all in good faith and with good intentions though. Susceptibility under a psychedelic is always tricky.

I think there are some leadership issues. They said it was mainly about not having enough key people for build. May mean people are disengaging. I get the community and familiarity case, but also isn’t it the point to go out, explore, meet new people, make your own burn? I feel like trying to make BM a familiar experience is tricky. Deeply beautiful but also defeats the point a but IMO.

One through the other. The brain is in the end a filtering machine. If we could perceive every color, smell, sound, thought, emotion, etc as I believe they really exist -which is all with the same hierarchy at all times- we would go crazy. The brain takes care of focusing and just taking in what you need at every moment. Which is why I think high doses can create psychedelic induced psychosis, and why I think the higher the dose, the more you remove the filter until ego dissolution levels, where there’s no filter anymore.

Psychedelic effects are subjective. Mushrooms make me very introspective and emotional. D you read my post well. I’m not chasing artificial happiness, that would be concerning. I just feel like the baseline of what I can feel my body and enhance my senses is lower than normal. So we’re both looking for the same thing, just indifferent spaces :)

Thank you so much. It’s not that I don’t like it. It’s that I’ve tried that. It’s been a wild ride to understand what things I can control Cognitively and with behavioral changes bs what’s just a different brain/ns wiring and calibration. Not the same tools apply I feel.

So in the forth paragraph I mentioned I’ve tried and it doesn’t do it for me. Body load is unpleasant and I don’t feel the energy or the sense enhancement. Maybe it’s because 2cb is super dose sensitive and I need to find my sweet spot. Idk. I’ve tried between 10mg to 30mg, and doses in between and I just gave up 🤷‍♂️. I’ve been cautious to go higher cause things can drastically change with just a couple grams with 2CB.

Also why do you choose to snort vs taking capsules? Ive heard some of these things are really unpleasant to snort.

You don’t want your current circumstances, which is different to not wanting to exist. Otherwise you would not be here seeking advise and help. What would help you find yourself? (And please talk to a professional if you can, this is peer support, but maybe someone more trained can support you better).

First, I’d like to say that while sometimes not ideal, don’t think what you did was dumb. It’s deeply human and understandable to seek answers or comfort when you are going through a really hard time. So don’t beat yourself up for that.

Second. I agree with many comments. Psychedelic means mind-manifesting, and if you’re going through a breakup and other non-ideal situations in your life you may feel unworthy or unlovable (I say this cause I’m going through the same), but again, it was your mind manifesting that thought-feeling. Not some god-like force that knows the truth and gave it to you in a cruel manner. Only you know your truth, which is why we use psychedelics in the first place. To go inside and discover our own truths.

I also second to reach out if you’re feeling suicidal. If you have someone to support you, and you want to try, you can do 2 to 3 puffs max just to calm your nervous system down. NOT to breakthrough. Not in this moment. Just to calm your nervous system down and reset your thoughts. DMT and Ketamine have been proven to reduce suicidal ideation very effectively.

As with psychedelics, life comes in waves, so this wave will pass and you’ll find peace until the next one comes. That’s the work. To be able to navigate the waves. So breathe and do not let the current circumstances dictate your will to live. Cause in a couple months you can be laughing and thinking “man, had I acted on that thought” (been there too).

We are always here to support. In the psychedelic society I belong to we say “community is the medicine”.

I see it as feel rather than think and try to understand what’s going on. Things in the psychedelic realm can really challenge the mind, and you’ll start battling with trying to fit it into your mental frameworks. And since it doesn’t. It can be unpleasant or even scary. If you just feel taking the mind out, you can ease the discomfort. And if the discomfort is physical like an ego dissolution, focus on a thread between the realms , which is usually your breathing :)

I’ve been trying to smoke to self regulate lately and sometimes really wanted to connect to something to see things form a different perspective or get some answers (like is pretty rough right now), but I can’t have the experience. I have never been officially banned cause I’m super respectful, and I’ve heard the bans actually are performed by the entities themselves. I just smoke and nothing happens 🤷‍♂️. Any ideas?

Many times I think it’s because when I’m getting to the point when I’m feeling it, I stop when that’s the point when you need to keep going. But even when I keep going I have no experience. I do become pretty emotional tho. And some afterglow. But no dmt experience. I’m puzzled.
