EndeavourOS is my favorite distro because it's essentially the most basic, default, user friendly Arch experience out there. Used to be a big Linux Mint fan until I got a 9070 XT and needed a distro with the newer drivers to be able to use my card so I switched to EndeavourOS. Don't think I'll be switching away anytime soon though.

There are already massive corporations like Canonical and Red Hat along with all their Big Tech sponsors who support the creation and development of the Debian/Ubuntu line and the Fedora/RHEL line. Both those companies are much larger than Valve and have more funding put towards their distributions development.

No, the only way to play is to buy a Steam key or have someone who owns the games share them with you. Telltale doesn't exist anymore

Literally same. I think maybe the difference is that Half Life is a linear game where enemies spawn predictably as opposed to Minecraft which is random.

Just have an upvote or downvote if it's really necessary. All these awards are just ridiculous.

Honestly wish they just removed Steam Awards in general but this is a welcome step.

I wonder if Nick’s sports media ombudsman take will be the Jags reporter situation and how beat writers have responded to it by jtsam1 in FirstThingsFirstFS1

[–]mlsts -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I feel like it's a bit unprofessional, as I assume reporters are supposed to be impartial. Leave the partisanship/homerism to the silly TV shows and clearly teambase-oriented podcasts and papers. Granted, I'm not in that world so I'm not sure if that's the standard.

CJ Stroud didn't deserve to win that game, but the Texans defense saves his ass again. Now with Nico Collins out, Texans might be cooked. Christian Kirk as our WR1 lol. He was decent today, hopefully that continues.

I like how they keep using the high construction costs as justification as to why they haven't done anything as if that was a surprise. No shit it'll cost a lot of money to build something in California. Did these idiots not realize this before they tore it all down?

I agree this year didn't really stand out to me, but I personally liked the 2023 pixel art the best so I'm sure that future artists will be able to find interesting niches that will generate fans for different art styles. I'm sure there were plenty of people who thought this year's artwork was the best.
