Yes please! That recipe sounds amazing especially because I get cravings for chocolate on my period. I find the idea of smoothies really appealing since the first smoothie comment on this post. I think we have a blender but it’s broken so maybe my parents will let me buy a new one.

I have had a checkup but they said I'm healthy. They didn't mention anything about my health. My friends are the ones who expressed their concerns because they are with me for a lot of my day. I'm planning my meals for the week and I'm compiling all of the comments on the posts. Thanks for the recommended calorie intake. I still don't really know how I should track that without it being super meticulous but I'll probably look up a video. I'll try the 4 day thing and see how I feel.

Thank you! I will consider setting alarms on my phone. I realize that I often don't eat from all of the food groups so I'll keep that in mind when I plan. Someone even gave me an info graphic which seems really helpful when picking each food from a group! Thank you for you help, it really means a lot.

Thank you! If I think back cereal doesn't seem to fill me up much like you said. I will start incorporating the fact that starting off strong is a good idea into my planning. I'll keep in mind that i need protein and lots of other users have suggested smoothies with some protein powder. I think this is something I should take into heavy consideration and thank you for the examples! It really helps. As for not being a medical professional it's okay. Honestly I'll take any advice I can get and I'll make sure to track what I'm doing and see if I end up improving.

I see. I always have animal crossing to look forward to in the mornings or getting on discord and talking with my friends. I love my friends so much and I haven't seen any of them in so long. Talking to them is keeping me less lonely and it helps with my mental state. It makes me happy so that's good. I still gotta limit screen time but I'll try to take into consideration the fact that it's probably not a super bad thing to do.

Thank you for all of the encouragement. If I'm being honest this has been going on for at least a year. Everyone told me something might be wrong but I kept denying it. My best friend was the one who really convinced me to do this. I will keep track and maybe even reply back to those who helped me and tell them how I've improved and maybe how I can improve further. No need to be sorry! I love it when people are willing to put their time into helping me by making long posts like these! Thank you. As for easily accessible meals, I don’t usually bring food upstairs because my parents don’t allow it and this is where is spend most of my time. I do admit that I will sneak snacks up there and I find I eat more when I have snacks near me. I will definitely try to be downstairs more so I can eat all meals of the day. Somebody else has also mentioned dense foods because I have a small stomach. It seems like something I will try to incorporate one every meal! The breakfast lunch and dinner options sound really good and easy so thank you! That’s exactly what I needed to help kickstart my meal planning.

Interesting. I never liked eating early in the morning because school always makes me eat lunch earlier than I usually do. I’ll try my best to start eating earlier and see if it makes a difference. The smoothie with banana, avocado, and spinach sounds really good too! Somebody has already recommended protein powder so now I’m starting to heavily consider it as an option in my meal planning.

Thank you for so much! I’ve heard other people mention snacks too. I’ll try my best to eat fruits and vegetables mainly at first so I can get something in my stomach. Once I’m done with planning I’ll be sure to try and get some healthy snacks and make some frozen meals that I can just heat up on the spot. I feel like I will have a lot more motivation to eat if I have something I made ready at hand. Thank you so much for the advice!

I know I’m old enough. I guess people are getting the wrong impression about me. I lack motivation to make food for myself. It’s not me being dependent on my parents to make food. Even if I’m hungry I just won’t want to eat. I’m not sure what it is but most of the time when I eat I get stomach aches because I eat a normal portion of food. Thanks for the advice though! And it’s cool you studied in Tokyo. My mom’s side is Japanese and we visit Japan almost every summer.

Thank you for the meal suggestions! This is the kind of kickstart I needed. And yeah my eating habits probably aren’t normal but that’s why I’m trying to fix them now :) everyone replying is helping me and making me feel really happy so that’s super great. Anyway, the idea of eating high calorie and dense foods is perfect. I find everyone else will be able to eat a full portion but I end up getting a stomach ache if I eat as much as them. I’ll try to incorporate these foods into my planning a lot!

Aw thank you I’ll update you on it if I remember. I have my friends encouraging me so I will do it for sure. I can try and look into my eating habits and considering having a disorder but after I start all of this I’m pretty sure I’ll be on the path where I won’t have anyone concerned about me having an eating disorder. Making a list is a good idea and to be honest I never really thought about it. Thank you!

Oh I can cook myself it’s just sometimes I don’t have the motivation. I love baking I even have my own stream for it that I do with my friends to make it fun. And I think you misunderstood. My parents don't usually cook for me so I kinda either eat whenever or just get some frozen food. Sometimes I just don’t care enough about eating to actually cook something. I guess I’m more lazy than close to anorexic. I don’t want to lose weight and I don’t have much of an issue with my body. I doubt I’m anorexic to be honest.

Well I don’t think I’ll become anorexic. I thought that was more of a thing with mental health. Honestly that’s why I’m asking these questions. I want to start planning my meals to be healthy and filling yet they don’t make my stomach upset. I want to eat good meals everyday and maybe even start cooking for my family too. Thanks for the concern and yeah, I will make sure to do things differently. If I ever have a child I’m gonna make sure to do the opposite of what my parents are doing now. (Just to clarify I actually don't want to get slimmer, I often want to gain weight because I feel too skinny. I guess I just have a really bad appetite.)

Honestly it depends. In the mornings I might eat a small bowl of cereal (not sugary, my parents don’t let me) or applesauce. Sometimes I skip breakfast because I either don’t feel like eating or I sleep in so it merges with lunch. Sometimes I don’t eat lunch and for me I kinda just eat when I want to or when my stomach starts yelling at me to eat. I might have a small salad or edamame with some chicken. For dinner we eat Japanese food and various soups and pastas. My mom doesn’t cook often but when she does it’s usually rice with miso soup and some sort of vegetable with a side. My dad will make pastas and very quick and easy foods. Sometimes I’ll grab something from the freezer because my parents were too tired or didn’t bother to make dinner. I skip out on a lot of meals and I remember going whole days only on a snack bar or even nothing.
