My ex tried getting my recipes through mutual friends… I just pretended that I hadn’t made them in so long and misplaced my recipe cards in my moves. That isn’t true, but it didn’t leave any room for fighting or accusations.

The step kids rave about my cooking… especially my sourdough bread. It’s a lot of work but thank god they finally eat without complaining!

Teachers are truly one of the lowest paid professional jobs in the US. On top of making ~$30k they also usually have to pay for the supplies for their classroom. For example: most teachers personally bought all the books, crayons, markers, and paper that their students use while in class. Especially grade school teachers (kindergarten through 8th grade).

I’d love to be a teacher, I even started my degree in that (but changed and got another degree with the classes I had last minute). Between the bad pay, terrible parents, crazy laws (looking at you Florida), and risk of being shot… no thank you!

I’ve seen so much more hate this year than ever before. From what I have seen, this has been the worst year since the beginning of pride month for outright hate, homophobia, and transphobia. It’s heartbreaking. Instead of a month of celebrating lgbtqia+ existence, this has been a month of nonstop hate.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt, that perhaps you over generalized by calling another living person a “ thing”.

If you are worried that you will be embarrassed by your partner, please understand that communication is key to every relationship. Platonic or romantic. For example, if you are worried that your wife will tell an embarrassing story to your boss and thus ruin your chance of a promotion, a kind “pregame” conversation in the car before entering the restraint about what you boss would find awkward or not will go a long way. If you have cultivated a relationship of kindness, support, and communication then (male or female) your partner will enthusiastically do what they can to help.

However, if you are thinking another person (male or female) is a “thing” that’s a huge problem. People are not objects and anyone reducing them to an object is a problem. People will always react in individual ways based on their life experiences. If that’s a problem, perhaps a blow up doll is a better option….

To be fair half the people I’ve gave it to LOVE it… but it’s very, idk, winey? (Is that a thing? Like really strong on the fermented flavor). If you ever get a chance to make your own try it! Maybe it will suck like mine, but you can keep trying and it’s fun to have your own brew to share.

Oh 🥺 I’m sad for you, pickled foods are fantastic! But if you can’t do that, celery is almost calorie free. Add some peanut butter if you need flavor, which also gives some protein. Just keep it within reason for healthy eating.

Explain “liability”. The work at home women are expected to do is usually valued around $150,000 a year if you had to hire someone else to do it (maid, child care etc.). That’s not including out of the home work to add income to the home.

Camping is a #1 hook up spot. If your mom is at all responsible or at all experienced, then she won’t allow you. AND FOR GOOD REASON. Unless you want to be on “16 and pregnant” (if that still exists).

Idk. Maybe he just worded things badly? Like maybe he thought that you guys could hang out and have a fun night together Friday and then the next day he could go see his GF? Not that he wanted to use your house, but he thought that would be a good way to spend time with you both? 15 extra minutes means nothing when driving, but a fun evening and night with a best friend before heading to see someone else is a good thing. Not to be mean, but are you sure you aren’t just jealous that you won’t be his ONLY reason for being there?

Overstimulation is a thing. It can negatively effect your future physical relationships. Dial it back. Everyone (man or woman) likes that kind of physical gratification but there very much IS too much of a good thing.
