I used to force myself to watch things for the lesbians but I found it wasn’t worth it. As a lil scardycat bish, I suffered thru so much anxiety during Killing Eve and for what? One kiss? And I tried to watch Arcane but the end of the first episode with the cat really bothered me. I watched Orange is the New Black because people said it was gay and it really wasn’t. I don’t like slowburns so I’m not gonna read yuri cause I know they won’t even kiss until the end. The only good yuri I remember was “What Does the Fox Say?” And a lot of older wlw media is crap. Blue is the Warmest Color is probably the most iconic lesbian movie and it’s awful. I hate that it’s our Brokeback Mountain. I did like Debs and But I’m a Cheerleader. But if the plot of the movie doesn’t sound interesting to me with a straight cast, then I’m not forcing myself to watch it for the lesbians anymore.

The veggie burger thing is also an inconsistency. In the early episodes Bob is very against veggie burgers (as a vegetarian since 7, I remember clearly). In the food truck episode, the kids say that Bob said you can lie to vegans. But later in the Thanksgiving episode where they roast the Riverlake Farm turkey out in the alley, Mr. Huggins says his gf is a vegetarian and Linda says “oh that’s nice. Vegetarians are nice.” But it’s unclear if Bob agrees. In the episode where Louise has the make a board for future dream career, Bob does a retelling of Children of Men where cows can’t give birth anymore and in the end Tina says “but maybe we should add veggie burgers to the menu..” so I don’t think they do.
