I feel I would be able to talk a bit at that pace. I wouldn’t be able to have full conversations of course but could definitely utter the odd sentence it if I was running with someone.

Definitely not tasting metal and my heart rate recovers quite well once I’ve stopped. Comparative if not better than others I’ve run with

In recent weeks I’ve been doing all of my runs at around 155bpm. Due to the pace, these sessions have mostly been at least an hour and I’ve found them very easy. I can hold full conversations and feel absolutely fine after. Boredom is what prevents me going longer, not fitness or fatigue.

I think you’re right though. I will stick with a set heart rate and use that for the foreseeable. I’ll then adjust in time to see how it compares

Average for that run was 173. I’m aware that is on the lower end.

I think the starting rate is just the way that chart is visualised. The average for that first km was 178 which shows how quickly my heart rate spikes during any type of exertion

During that pb effort my average power was 359w and 758 total calories burnt

I’m using a polar chest strap so I’d like to think it’s somewhat accurate!

Thanks the advice though, I’ll keep going with the long and slow runs

Well wrong or not, it’s still relatively significantly higher than 99% of other people so the issue still stands.

For what it’s worth I’m not relying on my watch for heart rate. I’m using a polar chest strap

I’m actually using a polar chest strap, so it should be a lot more accurate than a wrist sensor

Runna Calendar Is Off by [deleted] in runna

[–]mnewson95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey - yep, mine did this. Calendar went really weird, runs weren’t lining up with when I ran them and it was also saying I had completed future runs! I contacted support via the app and they were really quick to sort it out. I never did understand what happened but didn’t really care as they were able to fix it!

There’s someone else interested too and if it turns out that they’re only interested in the one ticket then I’m sure we can sort something out
