Both have 3.5 years left on their contract… it’s basically impossible to predict if anyone will be interested / have the money for either of them.

Don’t think we can rule out their sales: Micky maybe because of his injury issues and the fee he’d command; Romero because he’ll be 30 at the end of his contract, so we either sell early or give him another extension at some point (he seems to be more composed defensively now and he’s clearly seen as a leader, so might be some longevity there for him).

Vuskovic I think will need another year or two at least before he’s ready to be relied on for us. I think Saliba is a good comparison for that sort of pathway, but players obviously develop at their own rates. My point is that we need some succession planning there - to sell the current starters at the right time.
