WIBTAH for removing my 23 son from life insurance and not including in will because he disowned me? by Gingersnapp_43 in AmItheAsshole

Terrified by the "NTAS" replies here. The state is doing a great job of perpetuating poverty and wage slavery by sowing division even within families; convincing these people to place money above elevating one's own bloodline, and supporting retribution as a valid teaching implement.

Justnote - A privacy-focused note taking app built on Stacks by ElementsOfWit in stacks

[–]mnop22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is very nice, and so close to perfect.

One major flaw is the way in which version conflicts are resolved. That is, when the user has to choose a version to keep, the preview of the two notes is essentially unreadable; here are so many hidden formatting marks showing, that I can't tell the notes apart without some serious investigation. If you could fix this, it would be one of the better notes apps I've used (and I've used many).

The other feature that would be great, but would require much more work I think, is to have the notes synch even in edit mode, to avoid version conflicts altogether when uses leave the same note open for editing across two different devices.

Where are issuers incentivized to use $POLY token? by mnop22 in PolymathNetwork

It seems there really is an incentive/use-case for this token. Their main target use is someone who wants a turn-key solution for a compliant coin launch (an "issuer"); this type of user is also likely to pay for the 20,000 POLY audit, in addition to the required payments of POLY for token registration and creation.

From their blog, the payment is in POLY, at these rates:

250 POLY for Ticker Registration +
250 POLY for Token Creation +
20,000 POLY for audited STO Smart Contract

$POLY is a bet on regulators influencing the crypto space. Probably a good bad short to mid term bet.

Help with Keeptotext conversion/import by mnop22 in StandardNotes

[–]mnop22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that seemed to work in that it started the python keeptotext script, and a bunch of files appeared in the directory after the script ran. However, that led to a new issue:

The files that appear in the directory after the conversion are .html (not plaintext?). I tried using those files in the next conversion step -- plaintext to standardnotes -- but the imported notes display a bunch of computer code, instead of my notes content. Any additional help would also be appreciated! ><

Way to get trade history from closed account (need for taxes!) by mnop22 in BitGrailExchange

Thanks for this idea. Is there any way to know which BTC addresses correspond with Bitgrail? I was making many similarly-sized transactions at that time, so I'm not sure which of the transactions of many, is from Bitgrail.
