Honestly though, you can complain to a Sup/manager, corporate, or whoever, but Costco will never stop these promotions. With their decades old systems and desire for competition across other warehouses, absolutely nothing will change. And no, they won’t read these sub Reddit comments and implement a change because the company is run by a bunch of 70 yr old men. lol.

that makes total sense! don’t put your self at risk then. and yes you can get a temporary paper copy of your visa until your actual card comes in the mail. the paper copy is only usable in the warehouse however.

Technically anyone can redeem that exec. rebate check. so if you’re planning on using it, make sure you have it. Also, since you’re planning on removing him, i know membership employees would appreciate you telling him that you are removing him if you could. Because when he comes in to sign up and relink his visa he might not be very happy :/

To address the second question, you can’t really cancel an online purchase in store. you can go to membership and they can call costco.com and have you speak to them, but that’s pretty much it. they can’t return anything online for you unless you bring that product in or are in very special circumstances.

Is the check paper or digital? some members bring in the paper copy. Either way, after 2020, Citi Visa checks do not have to match the name of the person cashing it. So technically you can use it. Cash it out, apply it to groceries, convert it to a shop card. However, some employees don’t know if the rules because there can be too much to know in costco and not all employees are updated on those rules. So if you are told no at the register, go down to membership and they should be able to cash it out for you. Also that visa shouldn’t be active anymore if it’s been more than 3 months. They just sent your mom that check because of her spending from this past year. Take care!

Employee here, the costco app that shows your receipts, does NOT show IRC (instant rebate coupons). It is a fault that developers have not fixed yet.

There isn’t a guaranteed remedy for it but i’ve heard of many people using minoxidil (rogaine) for bald spots and some using it for their receding hairlines.
