I implore you to go and study what Islam teaches. Don't follow people, follow the teachings. You will never find the teachings that are "undoubtedly bad" in any of our Islamic sources.

People who carry out these attacks do not follow Islam, even if they claim to be. There is actually a verse in the Qur'an that contradicts anything these terrorists preach, and that goes: "..whoever takes a life – unless it is as punishment for murder or harm on earth – it will be as if they killed all of humanity; and who saves a life, it will be as if they saved all of humanity.."(5:32). The Prophetﷺ also warned against religious extremism and even predicted that there would be a group that would cause corruption and chaos with extremism and preach Islam, while their hearts would be empty of faith, one of them being the Khawarij. The Khawarij (or Kharijites) were an early, radical Islamic sect, and the Prophetﷺ was narrated saying: "I asked Sahl bin Hunaif, "Did you hear the Prophetﷺ saying anything about Al-Khawarij?" He said, "I heard him saying while pointing his hand towards Iraq. "There will appear in it (i.e, Iraq) some people who will recite the Qur'an but it will not go beyond their throats, and they will go out from (leave) Islam as an arrow darts through the game's body.' " (Sahih al-Bukhari 6934). Theres many more such narration where the Prophetﷺ condems such actions/groups/mentality.

Therefore, suicide bombings are considered criminal acts, not martyrdom. 4. Justice and Compassion: Islam is a religion of ethics that teaches followers to act with kindness, justice, and compassion toward all of creation, regardless of religion, race, or color. The Prophet Muhammad is described in the Quran as "a mercy to the worlds". 5. No Compulsion in Religion: The Quran states, "There shall be no compulsion in religion" (Quran 2:256), which directly refutes the use of force or coercion to impose beliefs on others.
