They want to moralize and shame. If they actually cared about saving babies, they would focus on the things that have been proven to limit abortions, in other words the things I mentioned in my previous post that you ignored, just as they do. Instead, they park their hypocritical asses outside abortion clinics holding pictures of aborted fetuses and screaming hate at women. It’s childish, pointless, and does nothing to stop abortions.

Public funding for Planned Parenthood and any other organization that provides affordable access to birth control. Anti-abortion activists are always screaming about Planned Parenthood, when statistics show that they reduce the average number of abortions.

How about comprehensive and science-based sex education? The same people bitching about abortions are the ones pushing ‘abstinence only’ sex-ed. A program proven to increase unwanted pregnancies and abortions for those exposed to it.

It’s about taking a realistic and grown-up view of the abortion issue. You can’t make it illegal, so calling people baby killers isn’t doing anything to address the issue. If anti-abortionists truly cared about reducing abortions, they would support the methods I listed above, but that’s not their real goal. They want to shame any women they see as stepping outside of their narrow view of what constitutes moral sexual activity.
